Fluff for the tank is,
The Krios Battle Tank is a vehicle of arcane and ancient design that fulfils a tactical role within Mechanicum armies similar to that of the Predator tank more widely used by other forces of the Imperium. Its durability is provided by interlocking defensive energy fields, rather than physical armour, lending it a deceptively skeletal appearance.
The most common armament mounted upon the Krios is the lightning cannon. This configuration takes advantage of the tank’s powerful on-board reactor’s vast energy capacity to create a laser-path guided electromagnetic beam, able to vaporise flesh and rupture heavy armour with ease.

I was going to say it looks more like a self propelled gun rather than a tank...

It's pretty sexy, for a warp-lightning cannon powered not by a schizophrenic rat, but an androgynous cyborg.

I hate steampunk, so I'm none too keen on this.

It's the exposed cogs man.
No need, no need.

You must not like the Mechanicum much at all Mystery...?
Mr Mystery

I like the Mechanicum stuff for the most part, as it doesn't have unnecessary cogs or inexplicably exposed critical areas.
It's just this tank. I get that it has shielding and fields and that (which is cool), but the skeletal look just puts me off it.
Not a bad model, but just not for me.

You've been cogblocked.

If you can build it without that silly big external wheel? That'd be enough for me to find it to my tastes!
@EG. Tsk. Though the tank is pretty phallic when the gun is elevated. Spesh with where the crewthing is sat.

I would imagine so... That'd be a silly thing to mold on.

I agree that it looks quite fun, but does it qualify as a tank instead of the aforementioned self-propelled artillery? I guess if the shielding makes it as durable as the fluff suggests, the battle field roll would be closer to Tank than Gun, regardless of its superficial appearance.
Either way, I may need a bakers dozen.

I think that's the first ever imperial tank i've actually liked the look of. It's pretty cool and it's weird enough for my tastes.

The best part about this one IMO is that I can literally make this from my bits box and it'll look at least as good as the FW model :P

Hey look! More worthless HH crap that nobody plays.
I bet they top it off next week with more unique units and legion shoulder pads so that beakie players can call their doctors to cancel their viagra prescriptions.
With the exception of the Nid TWL Devourers, the R'vanna was the last Xenos item to be released by FW which was LAST YEAR.
I used wayback to check the site.
I'm pretty upset since I have an email that said that HH would not interfere with the established FW product lines. Can't say that I'm seeing that.

after a quick call in to FW earlier about the new kit, iw as told that they dont even have a price for it, though it should be somewhere in the region of the sicaran, so £72

Observation.....certain design elements that match the Necron Doomsday Arc......
Pilot sat up the back, hooded enclosure. Little army but special shields....massive central weapon.....
