imo night spinners are better than prisms. st 8 anti vehicle without needing line of sight is a real boon. and again imo a st 7/st 8 'large' blast is more reliable than the 5/3 prism

for anti-tank stick tlbl on your serpents, the sl gives you the twin linking but imo you never want to get too close until tank threat is down and by then two or three extra gash ap hits shouldnt be that critical.

the spinners can give much better torrent firepower than having to use the serpent shields

i know ppl rave about chin guns but take them off the serpents and lose the bike guns and youve got 40pts to spare; im finding ghost walk matrix very useful.

my general problem with bike cannon - especially in small squads is that you get tempted to move and shoot and almost every unit in the world can put out enough firepower to fry 3 gjb... if they are hiding / turbo boosting they get to stay alive and take objectives!

if you want some cheeky anti-tank stick a guardian unit in instead of the avengers, two fusion guns and a spearlock gives you three shots with one st 9 and two melta; much better odds than one prism shot for roughly the same points. [ok shorter range; 18"/27" versus 36"]

think we have all been down the route of minimum avenger squads; again not so sure it is the best use; especially if they have a transport, im tending towards max or at least 9.
