SM Escalation Lord of War- Fellblade?

Anyone used one as a lord of war or in games (and how does it compare to other super heavies / gargantuan creatures)? .... or know another alternative that is a escalation level lord of war that would be better (besides the thunderhawk since I don't have anywhere near $300-400 to drop)

The rules i have for it in IA2 make it look pretty interesting. they don't let us check out the glave unless you buy the istavan books. but honestly as soon as i get the money i will be picking one up to use in escalation. It's a massive improvement over the baneblade and its a true space marine heavy tank so its well worth taking a look at. while the thunderhawk is a nice kit its price is rather prohabitive. the fellblade on the other hand its cheaper and points wise its easier to slip into a game with out loosing your mind. that and it doesn't have a D weapon so you wont have to listen to any complaints.

even better in my opinion is the Typhon - much cheaper both points (around Knight level) and cash wise (under 100 pounds - basically a steal by FW standards...), and rules wise it's a Vindicator on steroids with its 7" S10Ap1 Ignores Cover gun - very nice as a huge fire magnet and leaves you lots of room to actually have an army besides it

No worries i like it to i just know i want a fellblade too. It all comes down to what your willing to pay me i wont buy the thunderhawk i'd much rather buy a fellblade and a typhon and some other stuff lol

Actually the D weapon for the Thunderhawk is an upgrade. Its basic guns is basically just a big battlecannon, with the Turbo laser replacing it for 90 points. :P

But yeah, the Fellblade does have a certain appeal. I mean, it's a giant FU scale tank in an army of acid spitting latin chanting post humans. How can you not want one?
