Hi guys, in the spirit of transparency I'm not working for these guys but do know their PR guys personally.
A while ago they approached me and asked me if I'd be interested in this new trading site, while I remain skeptical about some of the features (or rather lack of features), I do see an excellent resource for us (and MTG / Boardgames geeks too!).
Why?
Because if we list things to trade/exchange we can do so WITHOUT listing fees. It's also a hell of a lot cheaper than eBay.
However there are a lot of features that we'd need currently missing for it to be a real replacement for eBay.
The communities element that they're promoting currently lacks any form of community as we know it, but I've asked to talk direct to their developers to see about recommending some extra functions post beta.
In the meanwhile I ask;
That people have a look.
That aussie folks like me join and sift the contents.
That anyone who fancies trying it do so.
That's all.
I'm hoping that this could be a great way for us in Aus (initially) to drive down prices, and that hopefully these guys will grow big enough that it'll work for everyone.
