Probably the most middle of the road issue yet, but the new Damocles book looks good!

Whats of great interest to me here is that this is the first issue that has unique rules.
They've previously done rules previews, for things in codexes in a week or two. The Flamer in here....is actually a real unique rule set that won't be released elsewhere

I continue to enjoy WD Weekly.
Overall, it's worth the £2.40 I'm paying.

I'm a convert, whilst visions does nothing for me, I really enjoy the new weekly WD. It's funny but for me it's got more readable content now than it has had for a long time.
Also I don't think many can complain about it feeling like a brochure anymore, it certainly doesn't to me.

The dataslate and formation were both nice, even if one is going to be in the damocles book anyways. THe pain splatter articles are actually making me try new things when painting my knight which helps improve my otherwise mediocre skills. Finally, I actually do find the articles on the whys and wherefores of a product to be of interest.
Honestly I really can't think of anything else you could want in a cheap weekly gaming magazine outside of a battle report. But those seem to require such a great amount of organization I imagine they'll be a rarity outside of the abbreviated version we got three weeks ago.

Yeah, Between the WD paint guides and the videos for the knight, I have started using washes a lot more than I used to, and trying other new tricks.

It will pop up[ as a digital d/l after this issue disapears from the shelves in say a month or 3.
But yeah I like this issue its really starting to remind me of a stripped back version of the 90s era WD.
