Hello everyone,
This is my first time using the forums and I'm thinking of making a Kill Team list of Eldar with this in mind.

-10 Guardian Defenders

-1 Support Weapon Platform (specialist)

-4 or 5 Striking Scorpions (two specialist)

-Striking Scorpions Exarch (leader)

I have a few questions about this list. First what is the best Support Weapon Platform to use in a Kill Team? What would be the best pick for specialist? Lastly is it worth getting a Striking Scorpions Exarch?

so much depends on how you are house ruling out various army options.

but assuming you have 'banned' armour 14 then the scorpion exarch is an excellent choice.
he carries in effect a 'power fist' that attacks in initiative order. there seems to still be some dispute as to its strength st4 x 2 =S8 or st 3 x 2 +1 = S7. And to how many attacks he can have [base 2 + x2 hw = 3 on charge 4]

a good alternative kill team boss is a firedragon exarch

enjoy playing

10 Jetbikes 3 with Cannons, I clean up with this list so often I've been asked to stop playing it amongst our group.

the boss has a point, why take armour 5+ troops to a gun fight when you can take armour 3+ ?

I've been running 6 Bikers 2 x cannons
6 Dire Avengers

Works out pretty well

AV14 is already technically disallowed, unless you know of a vehicle that is AV 14 10 9 or some other configuration under 33.

The Original Post stated Kill Team not Mini Points Games, so I think it's fair to assume he means Kill Team.
Normally when people post they mean Current Rules, unless they state otherwise.
AV 33 or less is the current Kill Team Rule for Vehicles.

Not wishing to hijack the thread, I am interested very much on what people consider to be a good Leader for an Eldar Kill Team.

Later in the Year I am taking part in a 1,600 Points per Player 40K Campaign Weekend.
On the Friday night's Registration there will be a series of Kill Team Games using models that are not part of your 1,600 Points Army.
The kicker being that your Kill Team Leader will be included as an extra Independent Character for your Army for no Points expenditure, complete with any and all Upgrades they have accrued.
The Kill Team Results do not go towards the Campaign proper and are just by way of a relaxing introduction.

What would people be looking for as a Kill Team Leader, with this in mind?

The reason I ask if a Exarch is worth it is because I have a choice between getting him or a other choice of weapon for the support platform.
