Raise it up 6 inches and I would play you, hell I would likely let you use it and buy you a beer just because you had the balls to try it in a gw store. The entertainment value from the exploding nerds would be value enough :)

Please, please use this in a tournament. Wear a wire. I want to hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth.

God, can you imagine?! :O

Wait, is that the 120mm oval base?

You fool, you've ruined your own punchline!

The Knight base is 170mm, so that's still not tournament-legal.

*edit: I would like to clarify that the words "you fool" should be read with as much melodramatic ham as possible, rather than being intended as an actual insult.

Ummm - its not a 40K miniature, its an epic miniature.

It's not flocked, nor does it have a minimum of three colors!

Incidentally I did something similar for a practise game. Only I used ovular cuts of carboard plus old Imperator Titans, and a dreadknight.

It's not flocked, nor does it have a minimum of three colors! Well, I'm not flocking it until I re-re-base it. Actually, it does have three colors but you can't tell from these pictures.

Finding this mini made me realize something: man, I SUCKED at painting 23 years ago!

This isn't legal...

It isn't WYSIWYG... Power fist isn't an option

You don't need to rebase it, you only need to attach the base that it is supplied with, maybe too epic though ...

I'm just gonna keep glueing onto bigger and bigger bases until I get to the right size... :)

You should stack it on all the bases GW makes- 28mm, small flying stand base, 40mm round, 50mm round, large flying stand base, 60mm round, 120mm oval, 170mm oval.

With all those bases it should be up to the right height.

Hmmm.

You need to thin your paints. I mean, it's fine for tabletop, but a piece like this should really be the centrepiece of an army. Consider perhaps using a dark wash to make the colours pop.

Also, the base could use a little detailing. Not much, mind. Maybe just a little pigment to really make it come to life.

Thin them? Hell, it looks like I plastered them on with a...

er, I mean, yes. Good point. I see where you are coming from. I think I will touch up the model a wee bit (because my club awards extra points for high quality paint jobs). Also, until I re-re-base the model I don't want to do too much to the base. I've already put TOO many hours into this project as it is... cheers

I call foul play, this is totally modelling for advantage, I mean it can hide behind an aegis wall...

True, but I also wouldn't be able to shoot from behind the Aegis wall...

No you are playing all wrong, just because you can't be seen by anyone doesn't mean you can't see it. Gosh, don't be so consistent with the gaming, or put the gun barrel peering round the edge...

Well it shows. You can't teach skill like that.

And remember not to push yourself too hard; like I say, it's almost perfect.

You could put mini knight on a pile of dead foes for epicness. The pile would be the height/width of the new model lol. Don't mess with the mini knight!

I know someone who did something similar using a really tiny skaven (not sure where he got it) before the Hell pit abomination model was released. We all called it monty...

There is a guy around here who has an itty-bitty nurgle demon on a 60mm base (I think it must be from Epic). The first time he put it down on a table during a tournament I laughed so hard that I shot coffee out of my nose. No one gives him a hard time about using it because it's just so damn cool... seems about right for Chaos...

And I shall call him "Mini Me".....
