Apoc decision

Going to be playing in an Apoc battle soon and need some advice. I can do 1 of 3 things:

1. Purchase 3 space marine predators all armed with lascannons/sponsons

2. Baneblade

3. Fire Raptor

Remember this is an apoc battle. of the three which is best?

Between a and b for me. Do you have other guard? I'd get a baneblade if you do. If not get the pred and enjoy d weapons.-

Baneblade. The Fire Raptor is cool, but it's all medium-strength anti-infantry. That won't usually be the problem in an Apoc game. And besides, the Baneblade is a very cool model with a ton of options.

I have a storm lord and a Macharius vanquisher. I can also field 3 earth shakers and 2 medusa's. Marine wise I can field 2 land raiders, 2 storm ravens, 2 storm talons, 3 baal predators and 4 drop pods.

What points leve, how many playersl and what armies will you be up against?
Also, do you have and have you read thoroughly the Apocalypse Book?

I'd sooner paint a baneblade than 3 predators.

3k minimum 10k maximum per person. Have Apoc book. 30 players 15 a side.

I lost track of this thread, sorry...

I play quite a bit of Apocalypse and in my experience everybody loads up on Anti Armour and/or Blasts so I'd advise go with the Fire Raptor because it's a Flyer.

The vast majority of D-Weapons that you'll face will be Blast Markers and as such can do no damage to a Flyer.
