Hi!

Last night, we had a TTM with 1500p and it was Dark Eldar/Eldar vs. Space Wolves vs. Grey Knights...we made a special scenario, which had five objectives (worth 1p each and you had to be in base contact with the crate, that represented the booty) AND we used the special rules from the 2 vs. 2 scenario from the BRB. So you threw a die, and checked the d6 result and fe. i had Vertigo (2p for holding the highest ground), SW player had Defend (2p for having more scoring units in your deployment zone) and GK player had Decapitation(?) (1p for killing a enemy Warlord, and his Warlord trait was 1p for killing WL in challenge). We deployed FIRST and then threw a d6 for that special mission!

On top of that, we dropped the secondaries (SWL,LB,FB) from this mission and it was fun!

We made some agreements, about the denial rules and had special deployment.

I got the first turn, BUT both of the players seized (well, GK had Coteaz, so there you go...) and suddenly i was going in last! Our turns were reset in the beginning and each turn we rolled a die, to see, in which order we were slaughtering each other...

TURN 1

GK went in first with Dredknight jumping that annoying 30" and he went after the SW! I was SO sure, that my troops were more liking to his torrent flamer, but no, thank god...Also, the 30" was travelled by the Fast attack guys (sorry, cant remember the name). He killed few Grey Hunters (whatīs the color of the day? :p) and Long Fangs and his Assassin failed to do damage to my Wraithknight and i denied his Brotherhood psychic blast (which had Perfect Timing...). But his Fearless terminators with the Warlord killed my Rangers, who had infiltrated little too close...

SW started to kill the GK and left me alone, all but the snipers killing one of my other Rangers. He gunned down few of those FA guys, but failed to wound the DK. Rune Priests blasted Living Lightnings, but no avail.

Then it was time for Urien Rakathīs boys (and toys? Wracks...) and allies...Farseer boosted the Wraithknight with Forewarning and Presience and the Warp Spiders with Guide. Raider moved forward the tower (my mission) which was held by SW Long Fangs and his Warlord. Farseer jumped up the building to join the Rangers. WK jumped forward to get a shot at the DK (i hate force weapons!) and the Spiders jumped 16" but lost a dude in the Warp with double 5! All my shooting killed three Scouts (snipers) and caused only one wound(!) to the DK...

Then we threw dice, who would go first,second,third...I WON that!

TURN 2

I got the Boss in, in a Venom with 4 Trueborn (2 x Blaster, 2 x Splinter Cannon). Farseer threw perils on Guide, and i took the wound, cos i had to protect the WK wit Forewarning and Presicence. My Assault move jump had killed another Spider (with double 1īs!) i now moved next to the Scouts. WK jumped closer to DK, some of the Rangers had to shuffle, to get line of sight. FINALLY, my shooting killed the DK, but it took most of my firepower and the Spiders finished the Scouts. Raider with Wracks turbo boosted in the top of the world (my mission)...

SW was next and dusted the Warp Spiders. His Rhino came in from the Outflank, right in to the a** of the Brotherhood and Coteaz, fire from the Rhino and inside, killed two Broīs. On his DZ, he killed couple of the GK-FA dudes. Raider got destroyed and Wracks are now PINNED!

GK Terminators had the Teleport power...*sigh*...they came closer and blew the Venom up...no damage to the crew, thanks to the FNP from Papa Pain. Assassin failed AGAIN to do any damage...GK-FAīs flamed the s*** out of the Long Fangs on top and killed them all, he had targeted the WL, so he assaulted him, lost combat AND RAN!

Then we threw dice, who would go first,second,third...I WON that!

TURN 3

I got Baron and the boys in and blocked the way to Urien. Farseer Forewarned and Presienced them and joined them. Wracks hissed in a menacing way. WK shot the SW WL, he went to ground behind Aegis (2+ against insta gib, saved). ALL my shooting against the Terminators killed Justicar (great...) and ONE another dude, what a dud round of shooting!

GK rallied the three GK-FA guys, shot the s*** out of the Baron, Farseer and the boys, only 4 Hellions were left, got assaulted and killed...

SW now controlled two objectives and had his own mission in a bag. He concentrated his fire to the three GK dudes, dusted them. WK took two wounds from Living Lightnings and Long Fangs fire.

Then we threw dice, who would go first,second,third...I LOST that!

TURN 4 & 5 (mind playing tricks of remembering thangz :) )

SW shuffled closer to his own DZ objective and the other came out of the Rhino, killed the Broīs and Coteaz, WK took two wounds, WL stood up.

GK shot and killed two TBīs and assaulted them, in a challenge, it was 0-0, but after the TB died, i failed the morale and Urien ran of the board! Well, thatīs 1p, but he didnīt KILL him, so i robbed a point from him :D

I shot WK and the Rangers at the SW WL, he went to ground and was saved, Wracks dusted him in an Assault

Dark Eldar/Eldar had their mission, 2p
Space Wolves had their mission, plus two objectives 4p
Grey Knights had half of their objective and were 2" away from an objective (Justicar never stood back up!First time ever!) 1p

Space Wolves victory! His move, of going in from the "wrong" side and killing the Brotherhood seemed stupid in that second turn, but won him the game. If the game had went to Turn 6, i might have had reduced his mission to 1p, by denial unit in his DZ, but he still would have won by a point...

These special missions have ignited a new awesomeness to the WH40K in our FLGC. Simply by dropping the First Blood and having a new way to choose Warlord Traits and Psychic Powers (roll a die, and fe. you get a 4, check every Psychic table you can use and choose any of the number 4īs or Primaris, same with the Warlord Traits) have created a use for Powers never used before!
