View Full Version : finalizing Dark Angels 1500

I am updating my Dark Angels and brushing them off again. I would like to have a solid, but non-cheesy list, furthermore I would like it contain both Ravenwing and Deathwing elements.
my take is this:
HQ:
Librarian (lvl 2) warlord, with auspex and 2x telepathy, spacemarine bike
# joins bikes and kicks arse or is a very mobile support unit
Librarian (divination and powerfield)
# joins the last devies.

Troops:
2 x 10 tactical marines (plas, Hb, combiplas, vet sarge, melta bombs, rhinos with dozer blades)
#plas/hb seems very good at killing light inf /combiplas aids when facing meqs.

Elites
1 x 5 DW termies (chainfist, assault cannon)
# Comes down on turn 2, kills something important

Fast attack:
ravenwing attack squad. 6x bikes (veteran, 2x plasma gun, veteran, meltabombs chainsword) attack bike (multi melta)
#I envision these hunting monstrous creatures/walkers and calling down the DW

heavy:
7x devies (4 lascanon, veteran)
# joiined by PF-libby. 4 twinlinked lascannon shots seems quite good. with 3+/4++ and 3 ablative woulds they should last well.




some notes.
I have meltabombs on tac sarges and ravenwing sarge. I think Meltabombs works against FMCS and I like surprising vehicles, but I do admit that I am not sure if those points are wasted.

Furthermore All sarges are veterans. This is probably not reccommened, but I like the extra leadership - it gives me more stable units. I

In addition to that I have about 50 points left - an extra DW terminator or?

What would you do?
Note that I do not face fliers (they are banned in our local group) and I hate fortications so none of those.
