Solid job, what do you use for your green highlights? I use Warpstone Glow followed by Moot Green, but I kind of like what you did here.

I used Caliban Green, then the old Goblin Green followed by Moot Green and then finished off with a mix of Skull White & Moot Green (more white than green).

That the bit that always confuses me that cypher was a pre split dark angel and the armour colour was black, as the dark angel only adopted the Dark green armour after caliban was destroyed.

But for some reason they always do cypher is green armour but he should be in black armour.

That depends.

We don't know which side of the battle was he on. He may not be an actual fallen, just got disgusted by the infighting and left after the battle. Or he might have been sucked up in the warp hole that sucked up the fallen, and has appeared later, and seen what the Imperium and his Legion have become, and is not a fan.

Or he may have just repainted his armour to blend in. Of course, this would have worked better if he didn't invert the sword on his shoulder.

They ret-conned DAs as dark green instead of green-highlighted black, then ret-conned it so the black was the pre-heresy colors. Cypher's just an inconsistency that resulted from that. Same reason CSM models don't mostly have earlier marks of armor.
