I figure "general" means I can tell you guys about my weird Warhammer sewing projects and get away with it. The projects section seems a bit too specific to the actual models, hopefully I won't start papercraft anytime soon. Anyways, yesterday I decided I wanted to make a plush zoanthrope, I really like tyranids and figured this shape would be easiest to start with. I don't make plushes very often so it's really a trial and error type thing.

This little guy isn't really the most accurate, he doesn't have a head yet and his body is too long in the upper part so his legs are far apart, but I'd like to see what you guys think of him so far. (Most people are just creeped out. :< )

I'll post the best picture I have so far here, and link you to the rest of the progress pics.
Thank you!

That is awesome! Major props for creativity, I would totally love one of those myself...

Accuracy isn't that big a deal in plushies, it is the overall effect that is important, and this one looks good.

Please post pics of the finished project.

Ahh thanks very much!
Well if it goes well I might try and make more of them, they might not be quite as large though.

That's a good point, I didn't think of it like that.

I will, thanks again. :)

If I said this is probably what would happen if I met half of the things in 40k would that be bad?

Of course I'll let everyone know. This guy is taking a while so I'm not sure if I'm going to have the chance to make more in the near future. I'd like to though, he's a lot of fun so far! :)

In the home stretch for this little guy, he still doesn't have his head finished or attached.

Thank you all so much for your support on this though, it means a lot to me. :)

That plush is second to none in creepy goodness! (Ok, maybe the Alien face hugger plush.)

Reminds me of my Crimson Fists pen holder!

Tyranid plush STCs? :D

I'd think about taking up sewing to make one.

Unfortunately I'm one of those "non-science" sewing people so I never made a pattern (except when making costumes). I'd be willing to try and make one up though!

He doesn't have a mouth.
I kind of like him without it.
Seeing what the masses have to say.
Enjoy!

I've seen a Rogue Trader era land raider, but I've never seen a gay land raider before. What's it look like?

What he said. That's looking really good

I just had a weird mental image of an entire game of 40k made from plushies...
