Hey everyone!

I have been a hobbyist since 17 year now and this love for the hobby and painting has even grown into my own painting studio!
And since there is so many great art work here i thought i could get some nice inspiration from these blog and as well share some of my own!

So...I see you've got the bit for the Thermal Cannon in the back of the main body of the gun, so I'm curious how you then handle swapping the ammo boxes for each gun type. The Battle Cannon ammo hopper has a hose that goes to the same place as the internal bit for the melta cannon does, so how did you get that to work? I was planning on leaving the back end open and clipping the hose off the Thermal Cannon ammo drums.

I have bend that one a bit and glued it on to the main body of the gun so the swapping part with hose fits correct.

They used an airbrush and stencil or mesh etc. Thirdfate Creations did some like that a while back and someone else .. maybe Awesome Paintjob or Ichiban.. can't remember.. it's not really new but still looks cool.

this stuff is amazing! like usual. how did you get that hexagonal patern so cleanly on the heads of the wraith constructs? I am asuming a stencil, but I haven't seen one that small.

that Sicaren is breath taking! and chance of a color list on the black main body armor?? I want to say warplock bronze drybrushed over black with Nihilakh Oxide (or similiar bluish corrosive effect) with a reddish brown wash? maybe even weather powders? This es EXACTLY the effect I'm trying to do on my new Imperial Knight.

I'm also really impressed SOMEBODY finally made a Wraithknight with both the sword and laser arms. Never could figure out why that wasn't a more popular build. I know its not an option in game, but it looks soooo cool!

The only thing I would change about the grey knights is I would drill out the bolter holes. A small step, but it adds tons of quality. The basing on them looks great. I consider my marines to be table top quality and they aren't anywhere near your grey knights lol

Firstly, absolutely gorgeous work!

Secondly, where are those cloaks from on the Reavers?

Those conversion are made as follow:

High elf shadow warriors
Dark eldar reaver jetbike rider legs, lower torso, heads and some of the arms/hands.

Glue legs to the torso's then clip them around the middle and add a ball of GS, now put on the body from the shadow warrior.
Shave the cloak part in the neck to make the head fit and attach the hands.
Make sure you fit the model on the bike before you attach the arms!

wow I like the Necrons, the colour scheme makes them look so much more moody and dangerous then those over the top metalics they are often painted in.

if the client modelled them himself, he did a great job, I see Fabius' body amongst some of the models which he converted very nicely.

It is of course your stunning paintmanship which really brings these models to life though, your blue OSL really makes them pop and stand out.

Indeed, lovely colour tones and great execution. Say, how did you manage to get that airbrush mask so neatly in or on those cockpits? It's such a small element on the model but really makes it pop.

Sorry, just can't get into that yellow. Your shading just makes the whole thing take on a green tint, barely even yellow any more.

I mean, outside of being Iyanden, don't get me wrong, it is beautiful! But that isn't a good yellow if it is supposed to be yellow. See what I mean?

Meph: First i polished the cockpits to a smooth surface, then i carefully placed the material for the pattern and airbrushed it.

Notsoevil: It's cool that you don't dig the yellow! :)
I have a very happy client who is letting me paint a whole army like this and thats what matters to me.
And imho, with painting a miniature there is no right or wrong there is only taste, some people like it and some don't. :)

And of course there was also a very big painting competition even bigger than last year.
What an amazing event of very skilled painters and modelers.
I had a great day and met a lot of great people.

Your Harley test bed is fantastic! colorful yet dark and the poses are so full of motion.
those Sicarans looks incredible, but Kharn...
holy hell that one is over the top! every aspect of is it so very well done. I sat and studied those pics for a good long while. I kept finding new details that brought a little extra depth to it. from the rust spots on the backpack to the (imho) perfectly done face and the gore effect on his victim- how did you achieve that!? it is incredible! If there's a Model Painters Guild, I think you just found your Master's Piece! Well Done!
