My AdMech

I love the Adeptus Mechanicus! There are so many really cool converted armies of them out there, with such strong themes. Mine's not really one of them, it's more of a random collection of pieces that I've made over 5 years or so. But it's kept me entertained!

Next I want to add the new GW Knight Titans (if they do make them!), all the lovely Forgeworld pieces, and I have a set of Skullz models sitting around waiting to be painted. Then an armies on parade board... There's always something new to add!

Wow! Now that's an army that's had a lot of dedication and love poured into it, congratulations!

Really like your take on the Imperial Knights, and cool use of the decimator kit for the Baron, and the Preatorianids.

Any more planned for the army?

I've collected most of the classic Ad Mech models, Skullz and so on. Need to paint them up. Plus I feel I should do a Cairn Wraith at some point, as everyone else has!

And an Armies on Parade board. Multi-level and big.

But at the moment I'm being distracted by historical games. Got lots of Gripping Beast Plastic Vikings to paint!

Well, how could I resist the new Imperial Knight model?

Here is Baron Galfridas de Nordcote, along with the rest of House Nordcote:

As you can see, his head has been swapped for a Sentinel Cockpit, to match the rest of the house:

I'm not a fan of transfers, so all decoration is 3D. A mix of purity seals, things from tank accessory sprues, and WFB shields. The heraldry of House Nordcote is a winged AdMech skull, Galfridas' personal heraldry is a crowned AdMech skull:

In Epic, Barons were armed with Power Lances rather than Chainswords. Hence this conversion:
