Well i am trying to fine tune my lists due to seemingly endless amount of local tau players.......... (marines are easy, tau are a B$(#@) And suggestions on which list seems the best would be great guys! Also i am not running heralds due to the simple fact they always get picked off with my terrible luck.

If Tau are your problem why even bother with plague bearers. They are way to easy to kill off due to stripping cover saves. I find Tzeentch is more anti, sometimes I call them Daemon Tau.

I think picking up flamers of Tzeentch will be helpful as well. Against Tau they are actually really good.

Belakor and a Thrister isn't gonna last long unless you have a icon.

The only daemon build I seen do well vs Tau is the hound spam. Seekers die overly easy. Another thought is to use beast of nudge or plague drones.

Thinking about it drones would be nice and soak up a lot of fire.

However I think the dogs is your best bet with 2 plus invulnerable saves.

Ya once i get more dogs i will drop the seekers, however right now i am using them to deep strike in the grinders off. (well the drones will be the icon carrys once i get more dogs mind you...)
