Hey all.

On Saturday 22nd February 2014, Leicester Universities Gaming Society (Known as the Leicester Sabres) are hosting there own convention in the Universities student union.

There will be game demonstrations from Fantasy Flight, Victory Point Games, ZMAN Games and GMT, and demonstration RPGs will also be available to try out including those from 6D6. Not forgetting various trading stands to do some shopping

More importantly are the various Tournaments that are being hosted on the day, with the chance to win some prizes.
The 40k one of which is being hosted by BOL's very own Soton Shades!

Dystopian Wars
Magic the Gathering

Tickets are £10 for the day (entry to the Sabrecon event is usually £5, the Tournament includes entry into this for free) and can be ordered online at the following link.

I am indeed running the 40k tournament (sorry if you were hoping to play against me...)

Last year was an epic event. We even had Alessio Cavatore (formerly of the GW Design studio) running demo games and showing us a few pre-release versions of his latest games! This year is going to be bigger, better and a whole lot more awesome. In part because Night System, with the help of several other members of Leicester Sabres, is redoing the terrain for all the boards up to a very high standard (easily the equal of the main boards at Warhammer World, if not quite the feature tables...)

So grab your tickets, hope on the train to Leicester and come roll some dice with us!
