Bit of background. I used to help run a full gaming club. Game a week and lots of community. Used to get a session of Dark Heresy in every week or two. It was hobby bliss.

Now....i had to move for work. Great job, love the new area but have one problem. There is F all gaming here. Not played a game in 4 months. The only gaming club options here are either retired people playing very old Historical games or one only interested in warmachine, something i have zero interest in.

Im resorting to driving 200 miles for a weeke end tournie just to get a game in.

What can i do to cope with withdrawl. Im tempted to start a club here but dont know where to start

Advice people? Starting to lose my mind

Where have you moved to would be a good place to start. Sorry I assumed that's where you had moved from not where you had moved too

Hate to say it, but maybe finding a new hobby?

Keep the models around to paint - thats always fun.

I have to move this summer and I'm dreading the same possibility. Haven't had a chance to scout the new area yet but thankfully I'll only have to stay there a year at the most if I hate it.

I'm currently getting ready to move and am in the same boat. Also, selling a good chunk of my stuff off as well. It's hard when you can't take everything with you. Good luck! (See my signature for the link for what 40k & LoTR I'm selling).
