We are starting an escalation league in Montclair, CA at Gameology on February 15th. Discussion for prizes are on our Facebook page Gameology and Gameology War Games.
Here are the current rules, entry is $10 with a 100% prize payout.
escalations every 3 weeks with matches weekly. 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 1750, 1999. Why 1750? Many major tournies are at that point level.
- no allies prior to 1500 points
- stronghold codex and fortifications at 1,000 points
- escalation codex at 1750
- 250 & 500 points are allowed to take 1 troop choice and 1 HQ. if you do not fill two troop & 2 HQ you may not take other units.
- painting prizes will be awarded by me. Best painted model, best looking army, & best theme. I cannot win since I am judging.
- most improved player will be voted on by all participants and given an award.
- you may change armies at anytime. You forfeit all points and are effectively starting over.
- supplements may be used and are considered part of the army you choose, ie Eldar armies may switch between Iyanden and Eldar between matches.
- no 3++ till 750
- no 13+ armor till 750
- no flyers till 1,000
