So the new Reciprocator heavy infantry for Convergence of Cyriss are great models... but the spears are HUGE. Magnetizing them is simple and makes transport much easier.4" long spears means if you were to fully assemble them and use pluck foam or even custom cut, you'd be lucky to fit one unit in a full-size tray. It's a simple task to magnetize the arms so they are removable for transport. I'd say this is suitable for a first attempt at magnetizing, even if you've never done...
