Grotesques vs Fearless

Hi, i was reading DE codex and found something.

Grotesques have a special rule that makes a unit who loses HtH combat to flee automatically without rolling LD.
Fearless makes a unit pass all morale checks.

So, Grotesques rule avoiding making the check Fearless automatically passes, would force to retreat a Fearless unit?

Fearless units never fall back, so automatically falling back does not affect them.
