I am starting a new Tyranid army! I want to paint them as Hive Fleet Leviathan. I'm just confused about how to paint the flesh. Maybe start with screaming skull and drybrush over that with White Scar?

I'm guessing if you're starting tyranids you'll want something reasonably fast to paint. I'd suggest starting with a white undercoat, washing with Druchii Violet, and then highlighting/layering with Ushabti Bone or Screaming Skull. Drybrushing it would probably work too. I think using pure white on its own might be too stark and won't have that same organic look.

Suggested fairly fast way of painting Leviathan:
*Start with a white undercoat
*Paint claws, hooves and carapace in black
*Wash flesh with Druchii Violet
*Layer/drybrush with skin colour
*Streak carapace with purple
*Paint red onto bio-weapons, tongues and claw tips
*White eyes and teeth (and you can get away with coming back and doing this later on gaunts)

For bigger bugs you'd probably want to take more care with layering the skin and use two different shades of purple for the carapace and wash the weapons too, but for the little bugs if you're painting in batches I've found this works out pretty well.
