Hello another army commission that Den of Imagination did.
This time Imperial Fists.

Let's start this thread with Cool Rhinos.

The Fist was done with some custom made stencil work.
It's really slick.

The mud effects look good...TOO good! I guess I'm too used to pristine yellow Fists!

Very nice paint jobs on them, though my slight criticism would be a distinct lack of any kind of markings other than the lovely Fist symbol on top. Even the marine with the bolter is missing shoulder pad decals.

Wow I love the weathering around the tracks, and the source lighting around the headlights is amazing, But I have to agree it does look unfinshed without the squad numberings and other assorted decals.

as an aside note, how did you get the yellow colouring so even, I find yellow always turns streaky when I try... I need some ideas because next year I intend to paint my old figures from Space Crusade.....

The yellow was done with an airbrush mostly. 3-4 colous with preshading

Models look great although the lighting effects on the tanks ruin them for me. I've never been a fan of that style of airbrushing.

You know I hate to be critical of such an amazing paint job, but this Drop Pod looks.... almost virgin, there's no scorching at all on it.

Was that what the commisoner of this army wanted?

If so then fair enough....

As for the squad and the character, great work as usual.

The bases look amazing, I really like how the green marble like colouring really stands out against the yellow of the Imp Fists, great work on these footslogers Brovatar.

I can't really tell you it's mianiture studio client privilege ;p. BUt its along the lines of 2500 USD done by us from ordering the models to varnishing and shipping.
