Silly question regarding Landspeeders

There's probably a very simple answer, but several house rulings, faqs and people having different oppinions on what counts and not has made it complex:

If a landspeeder deep strikes, Does it get a cover save for moving more than 18 and can it fire any weapons?

Absolutely not. As page 95 says, vehicles that deep strike "count as having moved at cruising speed." Page 71 says that a skimmer that is not immobilized and has moved flat out in its last Movement phase counts as obscured when fired at.

As a Land Speeder that has just Deep Struck moved at cruising speed, rather than flat out, it does not receive a cover save.

And to answer the second part of the question, it can fire the weapons it can normally fire when cruising. Since Land Speeders are Fast, that's one main and all defensive.
