I see in the internet that people claim one of the strenghts of the rune priests (and a goos reason to include one in any army that can ally with space wolves) is the psychic power of jaws of the world wolf. But on the errata and FAQs from GW site, it says that the rune priest doesn't use the powers in the book, but randomly selecta from the byomancy, divination, and telekinesis tables.

Is people just ignoring the errata, don't know about it, or is ther another ammendment I'm not aware of that superseeds this errata?

They may select from the rulebook. But that doesn't mean they can't keep their codex powers.

"A Space Wolves Rune Priest (including Njal Stormcaller) may
use the psychic disciplines found in the Warhammer 40,000
rulebook, instead of those in Codex: Space Wolves. If he does so,
generate two new powers from the Biomancy, Divination or
Telekinesis disciplines (in any combination) before armies are
deployed."

Note the MAY, and the IF. Basically, you pick two Codex powers when you make the list, and have the option to swap them both out for BRB powers if (and only if) you wish.

Also worth noting (the language is clear but one might overlook it) that you can trade both out for BRB powers, but not one. You can't mix and match.
