Just curious from people who have ordered from forgeworld before how long it takes, i know it depends if they have to make it or not though.
I live in NY,USA and i just have the regular air mail priority shipping, i ordered 2 leman russ executioner kits :D (whole tanks not just turrets) and i just cant wait lol, its only been 2 days and i know they say wait like a month before contacting them.
thanks

I've had plenty of orders from forgeworld over the years.
from Nebraska it took 2 weeks to a month
from germany it took 3 days to a horrible wait of 2 months (thunderhawk)
All in all the shipments aint to bad
when I ordered with an APO address it went through NY first before going to me, so checking the routing numbers it usually passed through NY within 2 weeks.

About the same as anything else, when I ordered my Sororitas Rhino Doors.
at risk of derailing this thread, do you use repressors Melissia? They seem really quite good and the model is quite nice once you've added Sororitas doors and spaced armour to them.

LOL
Take your Ritalin dude! ;)
I ordered from them years ago, and I don't remember it taking long at all.
Just remember, many of their items are made to order, so its not like they always have stuff to pull off their shelves to ship to you.

Most of my orders recently take about 10-12 days, and it doesn't seem to matter how much you ordered or how much it cost. I do agree that the waiting it the hardest part, maybe the shipping times will improve when they open up the US delivery center :)
Cheers,

It depends on the shipping. If you order enough to get the expres shipping it will take just 2 or 3 days. My Chaos reaver titan arrived in 2 days. I also live in NY, USA. I have ordered chaos dreadnoughts and upgrade sprues and those tend to take 2 or 3 weeks with standard royal mail. My local gaming group does a big order. We all chip in to order so its enough to upgrade to express shipping, then we get it in a couple of days.

I just received my order yesterday, and it took <2 weeks to Australia (and according to the sticker on the parcel, it went via Sweden...)
All in all, I think they have good products at reasonable prices for what you are getting. I also believe the postage cost is quite good..

The billions of times I've ordered from Forge World directly, was when I got FREE Express Shipping.
I'd Email on Sunday, Call them on Monday, and the stuff would arrive at my doorstep (East Coast USA) on Wednesday or Thursday!!
If I only need small items, doors etc, I'd simply obtain them from my local Battle Bunker.
I sure wish the GBP would hit 1.2:1.0 USD again. Sigh....
I miss those days!

Cryl i can as a SoB player i own about 3 of these beuatiful tanks and i prefer the spaced or extra armour and the SoB doors to add to the looks.
Also i usually add the icon pack and purity seals for SoB, and to finish it off i use the gunner from the original Immolator to hold the heavy flamer on the roof.
If your going to make it look impressive go all out.

I think they look really good as models, would like to see some pics of yours if you can post in the model section? The other army I would do but is SoB... every time I've tried to come up with a sensible cost (in £s) list I've ended up spending silly ammounts on forgeworld bits for repressors, plus I've got a guard and CSM army on the shelf mostly still on sprues to do first ... too many armies too little time :)
