We are looking for a Lounge fanatic to help with basic technical moderator roles.
This role WON'T put you into a policing role where you have to deal with interpersonal disputes. Thus you will be able to have the same level of community interactions you have with your fellow community members now.
The "Technical Moderator": role exclusively trolls and polices several times a day for:
-Posts placed into the improper sub forum and will move them to proper locations.
-Merging duplicate threads on the identical topic
-Policing the system auto-moderation queue regularly to quickly approve actual human posts/threads while ruthlessly crushing spammers under your gamer jackboot.
Estimated daily time @30-45 minutes in total for all tasks.
All interpersonal issues and interactions with existing Lounge members will continue to be handled by existing Mods and will not fall under the Technical Moderator's purview.
Any experience with forum moderation or vbulletin in the past should be noted.
