Do allies drop pods count?

Do allies drop pods count towards the number of drop pods that come down on turn 1?

Let's say I use Codex Marines w/ allied Blood Angels. I have one drop pod listed in the main detachment, and 1 drop pod in my allies. If they don't count, then both come in on turn 1, if they do, well I guess business as usual.

I started a thread just like this a couple months ago-the result of debate there was that it did count because the rule states "all drop pods" not all in the detachment.

Still want GW to FAQ/Clarify it.

I played a 2vs 2 the other night. My army was 7 pods, my ally had 1. So in the interests of fairness on T1, his 1 and 3 of mine came in, my remaining 4 came in from reserve.

Were I allied to myself in a 1v 1, I expect I would call it as I saw fit - because presumably allies would coordinate their assault.
