Bought about 4000 points of dark angels for $150.

Mostly DV, with a couple of DW/RW command sets thrown in. As well as the codex, and a Landraider

Also Belial, termie chaplain.

What an ace purchase! I wish I could have gotten all my Vampires (spent $800 for around 2300 total points) for that cheap lol. But ah well, my local GW manager was very happy :)
I hope you have a great time with that army! So much stuff to paint, base, etc. For $150 that's easily one of the best value purchases you could ever make in life IMO for hours you can spend on it.

nope, it was a warmachine player who was given them from free by his brother in NC. It also came with about a thousand points of (fuzzy primered) gray nights.

He wanted to buy a Galleon and two vanguards. while the store had a 20% off sale on privateer press stuff.

Yeah. Thinking more about it, that cannot be a sale by the original owner. The original owner would know how much they were worth. Unless they were absolutely I'm-really-hungry desperate, there's no way they'd part with that for £80. Were they still boxed? Could they have been ripped off from a shop? Or was it someone's parent or ex- who just had no idea how much they were worth? I mean, it just sounds like a major error on someone's part, or else stolen goods.
