Black Legion Defiler

Well I just put the finishing touches on my defiler tonight. I opted to go fairly standard with him since it's my first army and first defiler I ever built. Overall I am really happy with how everything came together, always room for improvement though. Comments/criticism always welcome.

Looks like you kept it really simple yet got great results.

It'll need a tad bit more weathering IMO.

Maybe get some dirt on the legs.

Thanks guys! Yeah I am a bit frustrated with the blacks and I have thought about doing some highlights on it... it's black and well that in itself makes it frustrating.

I am about to start a Lizardman fantasy army and excited about the fact that they won't be all black :p

I have been thinking about adding a defiler, and I would also paint it in standard Black Legion colors, so it is nice to see how good it looks.

I found that until i was much better at highlighting, simply drybrushing the edges of the black bits in Codex grey really does a nice job. (although im still not brilliant and highlighting black!)
