Battle brothers and transports

So I'm am building an Inquisition. Adepta Sororitas, Red Hunters shenanigans list.

Can my inquisitor join a sisters unit inside a transport?

Can a priest join a space marine tactical squad and hang out in a storm raven.

I know UNITS cannot embark on allied vehicles, but can ICs that have JOINED a unit do so.

If not then the benefits of Battle Brothers are somewhat meh.
