Where do you get LOS from on the shield? If behind an Aegis, can it shoot at any model as if the Aegis wasn't there?

Pilot's canopy seems like the obvious spot to choose.

I've always viewed it as generated by those protruding things, so I'd say the spot in between the two wings.

Same here. The rules never define it specifically, but if the vehicle cant see anything, then the shield doesnt get to shot. It has ignores cover, not ignores los.
