Within the 72 pages of this hard back book you will find:

- The history of the Farsight Enclaves, from O'Shovah's first conflicts to the brink of their destruction

- A showcase of beautifully painted miniatures , presenting the colours and insignia of those under Farsight's command

- New missions that recreate Farsight's most famous battles, as well as additional rules to customise your games of Cities of Death and Planetstrike

- A series of narrative missions that enable you to play through O'Shovah's military career, alongside a set of Altar of war missions that showcase the Farsight Enclaves' favoured fighting styles

Farsight Enclaves: A Codex: Tau Empire Supplement is designed to work alongside the rules found in Codex: Tau Empire, which you will need in order to field a Farsight collection on the tabletop.

But... why does the standard get a dust cover? I thought that was the LE thing. Kidding aside, it's only tempting because I love the current incarnation of codices and am old fashioned, preferring hard copy to the digital

If I get this I will have to get the forge world riptide too.

Iyanden also has a slip cover.

I bought the only copy of this that Games Workshop Shrewsbury had, and I do not regret it at all. It's a brilliant add on for the Tau Empire.

Unfortunately chicop76, Forge World have said on their Facebook that Forge World rules cannot be used with any supplement codex.

Thank you for your email. To clarify what we have already stated: our rules are written to compliment the Codex rules, not variants released in supplements. Using Imperial Armour rules along with Games
Workshop supplements would be effectively stacking one supplement with another that it was not designed to work with.

Obviously when playing games with friends it's entirely up to you what rules you use. We take the stance that officially none of the units inImperial Armour books can be used in Codex Supplement army lists unless we state otherwise. We have taken the decision that the Crisis Suits in Imperial Armour 3 2nd Edition, not including any characters, are fine to be used with the 'Farsight Enclaves' supplement. As yet no other Imperial Armour units may be used in supplement army lists.

We will not be issuing reasons why each unit or character may not be used with each supplement. We will only be stating what Codex and/or supplement a unit can be used with.

While that's an interesting statement, I know I'll pretty much ignore it. If I'm playing with people that allow forgeworld, I seriously doubt they'll care if they are mixed with a supplement. And if it isn't actually in a book, its not really a rule.

That's an odd decision on Forgeworld's part - the Wraithseer and Doom Spectres they've released are friggin' perfect for Iyanden.

I know right? Pretty damn weird.
