So with the new Adepta Sororitas codex, priests are now pretty useful and I want to include a few. The problem is that I have managed to keep my Sisters army all female through 3 editions and prefer not to change that. Any recommendations on a line of figures that could substitute?

Bretonnian damels make good priestesses with a little bitof conversion work.

The Dialogus or Hospitaller models might be good starting points. Female, designed to match the Sisters aesthetic. Apart from conversions, would recommend giving them a distinct paintjob since priests aren't members of the Adepta.

what style in particular are you after? Help us narrow it down and then we can go form there.

Not particularly, just a flippant comment reflecting of female priests and their role within the church of rome.

Daboarder, I don't have anything specific in mind. They just have to look similar to the 40K style. Sometimes other companies use different proportions so they don't match in terms of size. I could go with nuns in habits, sorceresses, or even female commissar types. If they are metal then I would need them to require minimal conversion since my skills are more on the painting side and less on the sculpting side.

@miteyheroes - The Mordheim Sisters of Sigmar look pretty good. I'll see if I can get some from eBay.
@eldargal - The Bretonnian Damsels would be great also except they seem really hard to get and include one mounted on a horse.

I would sift through the Raging Heroes minis as a start. Reaper also has some good "Battle Nuns" in their Warlord line that really only need a head and weapon swap. If you don't mind the grotesquely oversized head, you really only need the weapon swap. Reaper also has some "Battle Nuns" in their Dark Heaven line that are better proportioned, but have the integral base.

Yeah they used to be packaged differently, they were lumped together when converted to Finecast which would at least make them easier to convert. But you get the equestrian damsel which isn't so ueful for Ig.

As a stretch you could try and get a "house rule" approved for a mounted priest to use with Rough Riders (I've got a old mounted commissar that sometimes sees the light of day) but that's more of a modeling "show off" project than a practical.

A couple of the eldar heads are pretty feminine as well as High Elf and Wood Elf heads from WHFB. Perhaps a mage body from an Empire wizard and a high elf head for a fully robed priest?
