Ok. Since hopefully the Grey Knight hate has died down some I often debate fielding my Knights again. Last I fielded them it was with Dark Angels which ran rather nice. Gosh I really love Misfortune. Anyway going to the drawing board I have thought about challenges.
What is interesting about Grey Knights is that character models can easily have a plus two invulnerable in combat. The only model I had a warding staff on was my Tech Priest.
Now that you can simply decline a challenge, except against one daemon character I do not really need the staff on my priest anymore. Also if I have a paladin with a staff that would gladly accept the challenge in his stead it works out rather well.
What challenges bring now is it makes it harder to target out that priest with the grenades. Last edition he woukd take wounds and pray that he wouldn't roll a one.
This has made characters more attractive than before. Now I want that Tech Priest to carry grenades to tag alone with x squad.
