So, started playing MTG again, and having a great wheeze.

As such, I'm now looking at buying up new stuff to create entirely new decks.

Best way to do this (not to mention cheapest overall) is to buy an entire deck box. Which means online shopping.

Online shopping I'm fine and dandy with, but I'm looking for recommendations for UK based Magic retailers. The prices seem to fluctuate wildly, so it's down to reputation (cheap for a reason logic...)

Any suggestions my fellow Nerds?

Think of how many Witch Elves you could buy with that money!:p

3 boxes :p

Current one I've spotted has a Fat Pack and Booster Box for £121....which isn't too bad overall (36 Boosters, which normally sell for £3.50 a pop...Fat Pack weighs in around £25 on it's todd)....

And TDA, cheers, but looking for new stuff. I likes opening them!

And I LARP, so that's leather and latex crack (Fnarr fnarr!)

Thankfully, I get paid near £27k a year, and have no missus.

I can take it! :p I'll be getting some Witch Elves too.

Isn't getting a witch elf mrs kinda like covering yourself in honey and trying to hump an angry Ural Bear?

What is a ural bear? Is it like a squid badger?

Mr Mystery

Sadly no.

That makes me a saaaaaaaaad Panda.

I'll even settle for a mildly psychopathic woman to be honest. Keeps things interesting!

We don't have those in Britain. In fact, we don't really have offensive animals at all.

We killed them all.

I know, I'm in Bournemouth.
None the less they have the largest bears, and so therefore seemed the right choice.
Although Polar Bears have the biggest avg bears overall the largest specimens are recorded as being brown bears.
I like bears. Bears are badass.

That is well racialist, and I demand an apology to me, and all Scotsmen.

But mostly to me. It will only be accepted on the back of a £50, Bank of England note. A current one mind.

Worried about the continued viability of Scottish currency?

Special Brew isn't currency; it's a drink.

(so sorry!)

Nah, just want to make sure I can spend it amongst you heathens.

Indy Scotland won't bother me one iota, as I'll be a tax exile type.

Anyways...back OT (man this one escalated quickly!)

Any online recommendations?

Sir

I hereby tender my deepest fullest apology to yourself and any sweaty socks for being well racialist. Regretably I have neither a lovely crisp red Bank of England £50 nor even some scotch funny money. However when I pop home I am quite well off in Monopoly notes, which are the equivalent of the latter, I undertake to send one by third post.

Your humble and obedient etc etc,

Denzark Esq.

Ah man. Was hoping I might be able to call up, pay by card, and them bung them in the post to me.

Or even pay into a Paypal account, I'm easy!

At the risk of someone posting an on topic comment, I use magic madhouse. The prices seem reasonable and shipping is good.

Deady - I used to play - it is actually really fun and I even managed to get the wife to play. However I understand the regular players can be proper cutthroat and have tailored their decks over many years to the point where new players get slotted quick.

Dominion is a wicked cool card game. Card games can be cool.

My wife always whomps me, though. :(
