Can Mech Marines Compete?

I play Imperial Fists and love mech. Needless to say, the 6th Ed meta game is not in my favor. Of course anyone can put any list on the table - but can mech marines be a powerful competitor with other strong lists out there?

Well i certainly hope so as most of the marine armies i play are mech centric and do pretty well for themselves. I just don't expect them to be as durable as they were in 5th. so its a bit more of a chess game for me and i don't always expect them to live through it. i've found my raiders live longer thanks to all the plasma. but my rhino's are always first blood for an opponent if i'm going 2nd. so its one of those you have to give and take. but if your giving up first you can usually get line breaker to even things out.
