The Fire Raptor is a specialised variant of the Storm Eagle known to have its origins in the Imperium’s dim and distant past. The vehicle is configured to maximise ammunition stowage in order to feed the voracious appetite of its numerous weapons and this is achieved by sacrificing the Storm Eagle’s transport capacity.

I'm happy there is finally a vindicator kit with not even a trace of side doors. Also yes - it looks like a Tonka toy. The Imperial Fists will love it.

god i hope this Fire Raptor is 40k approved (and not just 30k as its paintjob implies) and also that it works its way into chaos marine armies.

well the Storm Eagle did, so I don't see a reason why it should not... and be it only to make it sell better...

by the way, what do you make of its armament? front looks like Hades to me, with Quad HB or TL Autocannon in the sponsons, plus the wing mounted missiles... sounds like quite a nice amount of dakka, depending on points...

as for armourment - i bet its hades ( although could also be punisher cannons). yeah alot of dakka and not one machine spirit in sight..... leads me to believe it will need to fire as normal things do.

I doubt it's a Vulcan Mega Bolter, they're far too big. It would suspect either a TL Avenger Mega Bolter, TL Hades Autocannon or TL Punisher Gatling Cannon. Though imo, i'm gonna assume the first option.

I suppose , but when you take the cannons from the macharius vulcan and put them side by side , its possible for them to fit the front chassis of the storm eagle. have to check the book on the day :3

I love the Raptor but the Vindicator is pointless, just buy a Deimos Rhino and plastic Vindicator bits.

Anyone else think that the poor assembly of the Rhino base with the massive moulding gap by the front track ruins the appeal somewhat... as this is a completely FW kit one would assume it would be perfect...

The Fire Raptor is ace. The Vindicator is awful. I'm not sure about this whole line of Forge World "classic tank" designs which just harken back to the bad old days before GW knew what the hell it was doing (in a design sense).

way too small to be Accellerator Cannons though... remember, the Siccarian is about Land Raider size... maybe a smaller subtype? "Accellerator Guns" or whatever FW would call that...
by the way, is there any info floating around on what the guns of the Siccarian actually do?

I think both models are pretty cool. I especially love the WWII style ball-turrets on the Storm Eagle.

Storm Eagle, not Storm Raven - and it gets a different nose gun as well, so rules-wise I almost suspect it's gonna be bonkers good...
and that's just a Vindicator that looks different, rules don't change with Deimos patterns (except the alternative guns for Preds)
