Nergralath's Blightkrieg Battalion, Nurgle Chaos Warriors Army

My biggest army at the moment is still my WHFB Orcs & Goblins army; 3000+ points. As much fun as they are, they're a touch unreliable and have almost make me dislike Warhammer as a game. I still love them to bits, but...Y'know. So, recently I decided to start a new force in a different kind of green; a Chaos Warriors Nurgle Army.

Here's the progress so far. I've been saving up pics, so prepare for a big initial wave and quite some double posting.

Followed by two 'generic infantry' for my Chaos Warriors. These unfortunate souls (can Chaos Warriors be fortunate...?) were the first two I've painted with the method I've had in mind for a while - I'll close off my posting spree with that.

A note on the Nurgle symbol on the shield of the left one: yes, it's put on crooked and yes, that's intentional.

As with the others, these two need a (lot of) greenstuff; I'm aware.

...my work in progress Chaos Warshrine dedicated to Nurgle! Based on a Scibor Monstrous Snail, with the shrine itself a mix from various GW bitz, mostly an old Orc Chariot and a Vampire Counts Corpse Cart, added upon with various Chaos bitz. Quite like how it's coming along.

Some absolutely cracking conversions in there mate. Can't wait to see how they get painted up. I'd also love to see some more of your standard infantry, all blocked up :)

Thanks for the compliment. Quite proud of my conversions - personally, I feel that's my forte. I don't have much standard infantry yet, but, my Chosen will be ready for showtime before soon. At the moment, I've got these painted:

My apologies for dragging this up from the depths, but, I have a question. I plan to use Maggoth Lord bitz, specifically, Orghotts' torso, and maybe the legs.

I don't suppose someone has those bitz laying around so he or she can show me comparisons to other Chaos models, so I can get an idea of the size?

Specifically, is it more on par with the Blight Kings, or smaller?
