Since 2011 Foodhammer has been a staple of the BC lower mainland gaming scene. We've raised over $6000 for local food banks since our inception and given everyone a damn good time as well!
Since we hold our events at our host store, GameStars (https://www.facebook.com/GameStars), we are able to maximise our donation to the food bank by not paying for space in a hotel or convention centre! We hold each event on a different weekend so people can take part in more than one if they do choose!
This year we're holding
X Wing on November 16th - 100 points
Warmahordes on November 23rd - two 50 point lists
40K on November 30th - 1500 points, Allies and Forgeworld okay.
Warhammer Fantasy on December 1st - 2000 points, no special characters
Malifaux on December 7th - M2e, 35 SS
Our sponsors are many and varied! Secret Weapon Miniatures, Fantasy Flight Games, Shogun Miniatures, Soda Pop Miniatures, Chessex and Dragonforge are among them. We always do our best to have great prizes for people to win.
