My latest article for Spikey Bits blog is about how to paint the Space Marine Stormtalon. It includes not only photos of the finished model like the one shown below, but work-in-progress photos that demonstrate how best to break down and paint different parts of the model separately for maximum painting speed and neatness.

There's also a reminder about which way to glue on the horizontal stabilizer. I see so many tails glued on backwards on this model and on the Stormraven because people are used to seeing most tails on real aircraft sweep toward the rear. The elevators modeled on the tail should be pointing toward the rear as they are on real aircraft, otherwise they wouldn't work very well!
