Alright, so I've saved up a goodly amount of money for the family trip to the U.K. and broader Europe. Fortunately this includes a trip to Warhammer World and Gamesday! Beyond excited for both of these things. So I'm looking to beat the crappy state of the Canadian Dollar and get a few things on the cheap in the U.K. (The savings are about 15-20% I think.) So at this point I'm looking to augment my ever growing Dark Angels army or my fledging Necrons. This will also be a good way to document my entire collection built up over 7+ years.

So I'll put it up to you guys to help me out and see if there's any gaps I need to plug. I think I know a couple, but I'll see if the ones I'm thinking of and the ones you suggest match up. So! Here's what I have:

Dark Angels
HQ:
- 2 Company Masters (1 Jump Pack, Lightning Claw, Combi-Melta. 1 Power Weapon, Storm Bolter.)
- 3 Librarians (1 Terminator Armour, Storm Bolter, Force Weapon. 1 Dark Vengeance spec, 1 w.i.p. Bike Conversion)
- 2 Chaplains (1 Terminator Armour, Storm Bolter, Crozius. 1 Dark Vengeance Special Ed. Spec)
- 1 Command Squad (W.I.P.)

Elites:
- 25(+?) Deathwing Terminators (11 Painted, 2 Assault Cannon, Power Fist. 4 Storm Bolter, Power Fist. 3 Lightning Claws. 2 Thunder Hammer, Storm Shields. 20(+?) Unpainted Storm Bolter, Power Fist.)
- 9 Company Veterans (1 Power Fist, Plasma Pistol. 1 Power Weapon, Bolt Pistol. 1 Plasma Gun. 1 Plasma Pistol, Close Combat Weapon. 5 Bolt Pistol, Close Combat Weapon.)
- 3 Dreadnoughts (1 Twin-Linked Autocannon, Power Fist, Heavy Flamer. 1 Plasma Cannon, Powerfist. 1 Unpainted, no weapons.)

Troops:
- 90(+?) Tactical Marines (Mostly Boltguns. 5 Sergeants, various equipment. 5 Squads painted, (56 exactly). Various special and heavy weapons available for painting. 40(+?) Unpainted.)
- 2 Rhinos (1 Unpainted, Unassembled.)

Fast Attack:
- 13 Ravenwing Bikers (1 Meltagun. 2 Bolt Pistol, Close Combat Weapons. 1 Power Weapon. 2 Standard Bikers. 7 unpainted from Dark Vengeance box set.)
- 3 Attack Bikes (2 Multi-Meltas. 1 Magnetized Multi-Melta.)
- 1 Land Speeder (Fully Customizable/Magnetized.)
- 5 Assault Marines (1 Power Weapon, Combat Shield. 1 Plasma Pistol, Close Combat Weapon. 3 Bolt Pistol, Close Combat Weapons.)

Heavy Support:
- 6 Devastator Marines (1 Close Combat Weapon, Signum. 1 Bolter. 4 Marines swapped out regularly.)
- 2 Predators (2 Autocannons, Heavy Bolter Sponsons.)
- 1 Whirlwind.
- 1 Vindicator.
- 1 Land Raider (2 Twin-Linked Lascannons, 1 Twin-Linked Heavy Bolter.)

Fortifications:
- 1 Aegis Defence Line (1 Quad-Autocannon.)

War Machines:
- 1 Stormblade Super Heavy Tank.

Necrons
HQ:
- Orikan the Diviner

Elites:
- 5 Lychguard/Triarch Praetorians (Unpainted. Can someone suggest which to go for?)

Troops:
- 10 Warriors.

That's my collection! What needs to show up?

basically, you DA could best use some more Forge World stuff I think - especially in the AA department...
Contemptor pattern Dreads are pretty bonkers if a bit expensive, and the arms are very easy to magnetize, so one body and a couple of arms gives you a nice variety of builds to try out (one CC, two Kheres, two Autocannon and a Heavy Conversion Beamer plus Cyclone and maybe even Lascannons is what I'm planning to get for mine...) - and when you know you will be facing flyers just take it as a Mortis...
then there's Flyers - a Storm Eagle or Caestus maybe? the former is basically a pumped up Storm Raven, with more weapons and capacity, while the latter is a flyer that can ram ground vehicles, besides some other funky rules and weapons...
keeping with the Plasma theme, a Deimos Executioner Predator or two might also catch your fancy - they surely caught mine...
another cool tank is the Whirlwind Scorpius

Then there's the "new" Dark Angels stuff, which I see none of in your list - Deathwing and Ravenwing Knights are both rather nice I think, as are both Command Squads (Ravenwing command squad with the Salvo banner is pretty mean I hear...)
also some of the Named characters, especially the Big 3 (Azrael, Belial, Sammael) would give you more variety in your builds by unlocking Deathwing and/or Ravenwing as Troops...

as to your Necrons, well where to begin is always a good question...
personally I don't really like either Lychguard or Praetorians - just too expensive for too little staying power and output imho
you obviously need some more Troops - the choice there is pretty much one of personal taste I think, neither of the two is straight up better than the other
a good next addition I think would be an Annihilation Barge - the fire power on those things is straight up ridiculous for the points
I also really like Tomb Blades - just zip around and drop S6 3" blasts on the enemy for very little points investment
as a counter Assault element or to threaten your opponent's back line, Wraiths are always nice, especially when paired with a Destroyer Lord
for some (much needed) mobility, a Night Scythe for your Warriors (or even Lychguard when you feel like it... 5 of those guys with shields standing right inside your army IS a mildly scary proposition...) is the logical choice - but I'd limit myself to one or two of those at most to keep your games fun and opponents friendly...

At this time, my gaming group does not use Forgeworld, so the things I would be using it for at this time would be counts-as models. Such as that sexy Whirlwind Scorpius would just be a Whirlwind for now. (My friend does play Tyranids so my current one (First thing I painted in my army, straight from 3rd Ed!) see's a lot of table time. Also good for messing with my other friend's static Tau.)

I am thinking of picking up some more Ravenwing, especially a bunch of Ravenwing Knights. Maybe a couple squads of those and Sammael would do wonders for me trying to fill up some close combat gaps in my army?

As for my Necrons, right now I'm considering them more of a "Detachment Force", a just for fun add on to my Dark Angels as weird allies that I like the idea of for my own strange reasons. What I want to do is get myself a few of Nightbringers and run them in all my elite slots, mostly because I've always had Monstrous Creature envy. But I do like the idea of Tomb Blades.

I am not really convinced C'Tan shards are all that good to be honest... they are just so very expensive (not that there are many better choices in the Elites slot...) but if you want Monstrous Creatures, why not go for a trio of Canoptek Spyders? They can be used in threes per heavy support slot, and combo very nicely with Scarabs - getting those two units would mean you have one of each FOC slot, which is kinda nice for building an Allied Detachment... Spyders admittedly lack the scary factor of C'Tan though...
