Preordering is just silly. But I did it not because I want it upon release but because I was I want to support SoB. If GW sees a lot of preorders it will only motivate them do do something for the model range.

I've never seen anyone scold SoB players for complaining about the state of their army.
Must not be a BoLS thing then. I got constantly *****ed out for criticizing GW's handling of the SoB on other forums by GW apologists.

We have enough high profile posters to avoid that. You should have heard Eldargal and I when people were convinced they were going to roll Sisters and GKs into a combined codex.

More like nobody listens to them after that Melissia psycho from a few years back.
I'm a SoB apologist. I loved their supplement rules in 6th ed. They were the perfect meta army. Not to say that their rules were perfect - there were several things wrong - but nothing approaching the level of uninformed vitriol that was being posted all over the internet about them.

Seconded. I don't even PLAY Sisters of Battle but I love the rich potential and vibe of their art (that preview picture of the GIANT statue of the Saint above the cathedrals for instance), but I don't think that it is conveyed in their current range of models. They are DESPERATELY in need of new models and I hope that if the new 'dex stirs up enough interest GW will be (financially) motivated to give them the overhaul they need.

Yes well, I think most of us can agree THAT would've been a mistake. In my opinion the Adeptus Sororitas deserve their own codex MORE than the Grey Knights. I've always felt that the Grey Knights should've been IN a Ordo Malleus codex while the Adeptus Sororitas should have their own WITH some Ordo Hereticus additions. But I digress...

Yes... I consider myself a reasonable individual but she used to frustrate me every time we had a discussion.
Old frustrations aside, the Adeptus Sororitas get a LOT of undeserved hate. I'm very hopeful about what could come of this new Codex...

Could someone share the epic of this "Melissia?" I am deeply curious now...

Honestly? Dont bother. the entire saga was nothing but bad behavior on the part of the poster and the community as an entity. While she was an opininated ***** sometimes, she was also ruthlessly hounded by various posters that thought it was funny to turn her into a joke. Its better left alone.

Well said, plus she is a member of our community and deserving of basic respect. She isn't very active anymore but was very opinionated about the Adeptus Sororitas and tended to get... "enthusiastic" in her discussions related to them when anyone disagreed with her. Some people thought it was funny to poke the bear which exacerbated it.
But discussing other members (active or otherwise) is not the point of this (or any other) thread. So, to get back on track... NEW SISTERS OF BATTLE CODEX!! WOOOO!

On to more pertinent questions... is anyone else having trouble actually preordering the codex? I had a moment, so I went and clicked the button... nothing happened except that the page reloaded. No place for me to enter payment information or anything. Am I the only one having this problem?

I had no problem preordering from Black Library. Took all my details and sent me an email. Are you ordering the Apple or eBook version?

Damn it, I'm sat here browsing the SoB minis. I have a horrible feeling I will be making a Sororitas army in the near future.

For all the progress they've made in digital distribution, the Black Library website is a mess. Try in IE. I know it doesn't work right in Chrome, not sure about Firefox. I had the same problem the last time I tried to order some books there.

There you have it. Thanks.
I wouldn't want to get Internet Explorer on my computer - I hear it stains. I'll try Safari.

I used Firefox and had no problems from the UK.
