New FAQs are up on Games Workshop Website.

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?categoryId=1000018&pIndex=1&aId=3000006&multiPageMode=true&start=2

Furthermore, the Rulebook FAQ has nothing highlighted in Magenta to indicate a new FAQ entry, although it does state it is the September 2013 update.
I don't have the previous one stored on this device.
Can anybody see what has changed?

Ok so the imperials have had their servo harnesses changed to be inline with Dark angels, no more extra attacks at I1.....

and I cannot find any change in the BRB errata.

edit: oh and the burning chariot is still worth its weight in ****

No day one for Space Marines? Good grief, have they managed to publish a book without any errors?

if they have then I'll give them a 1:1 scale space marine of solid gold

Very disappointed. Daemon players have been waiting for a lot of clarifications since March, and yet when GW finally decides to do a FAQ round-up - and a lot of codices do still need some work - they only change the servo-harnesses for each Imperial book. Seems like GW have really dropped the ball with FAQs lately, granted the books being released are great, but there are always issues and I'm getting a bit peeved at paying $83-90 for hard-cover books that need a lot of "tune-ups".

Nope, I downloaded the ebook version this morning and have spotted a couple of typos so far. Under the wars of iron in the fluff section there is a typo and in the scout profile there is an x in front of the scouts ws.

Normally I'm reasonably forgiving re the FAQ's but I'm really disappointed that this is the FAQ release when there has been no Fantasy FAQ update for ages especially when there seem to be so many questions in the Lizardmen book

Actually yeah, still no FAQs for Fantasy since April, despite High Elves and Lizardmen being released. They were doing so well on that front not so long ago, I wonder what has happened to all the updates?

The ONE GeeDub Employee who was in charge of doing the F.A.Q.s had been looking at porn on his 486 SX Computer and it caught a Virus.

This is why we used to get F.A.Q.s quickly, and now we don't.

old FAQ (well, 1.3 seems to be the last one I downloaded):
Q: Land Speeder Storms, Stormraven Gunships and Stormtalon Gunships are all listed as Space Marine vehicles in the Reference section. Does this mean that every Space Marine Chapter now has access to these vehicles as well (i.e . Space Wolves, Blood Angels, Grey Knights etc.)? (p411)
A: No – you may only select units and vehicles that are available in the army list section of your codex. The two exceptions are the Stormtalon and Stormraven Gunships, which are only available to armies chosen from Codex:
Space Marines and Codex: Black Templars. The rules for these Flyers can be found in the Death From the Skies compendium.

It's not necessarily an error, but Raven Guard grant all models that aren't Bulky Scout. Raven Guard, who love jump packs. Jump packs, which are bulky... GW, you suck.

It makes sense, kind of hard to sneak around with a jet pack whirring away on your back. Plus you have Shrike to offset it and you can scout with the rest of your army, so you are still going to own the deployment phase.

There is precedent for ravenguard having quiet JP's though, both in the HH novels and shrike's infiltrate.

Not a big issue though

GW, you suck.Dunno, I think that's offset by the specifically Jump-pack bonus they get. It gives them carefully positioned/stealthy infantry supported by quick, hard-hitting jump-packers, which feels right.

Yeah, this sounds more correct than the other response.

My point is, though, Assault Marines could have actually been pretty good. Plus there's all the fluff about stealthy hit and run attacks using jump packs. And, when in real life attack helicopters are specifically designed to fly very low and pop up over a ridge or treeline from nowhere and dump a bunch of rockets into their target, I'm pretty sure you could sneak up on someone with a jump pack.

A question here, is that "all models" include vehicles? My friends said no, but that sounds ridiculous.
Does any sentence support this idea or not?

Your friend is correct. As the codex says, "All models benefit from the appropriate Chapter Tactics for their detachment's Chapter, providing they have the Chapter Tactics special rule" (emphasis added). Unless the vehicle has Chapter Tactics (and none do), they can't benefit from the Raven Guard chapter tactics.

For further confirmation, consider the Iron Hands' Machine Empathy special rule: "All vehicles and characters in this detachment have the It Will Not Die special rule (even though vehicles do not have the Chapter Tactics special rule)" (emphasis added). If Raven Guard vehicles were supposed to have Scout, they would have had a similar exception.

Got it. well, if vehicles have it, RG would be awesome.
It's like white scar took away all the awesomeness. Khan make Bikes, Termies and Centurions with LR scout, salved grov weapon range problem and make them charge at turn 2 (or 1 if go second)...That's just too awesome to be true.

Remember, though, that RG can still Scout if it's a dedicated transport. But, yes, White Scars with Khan do everything RG do, but better.

LOL...made my morning. Iīve been selling computers since -97 and find this very amusing, but on the sadder note, cīmon GW! Itīs like WTF? My friend called me this morning and was ANG-RY. Heīs a BA player and didnīt find it funny, that thereīs one thing corrected in the latest FAQ. Altough, itīs 100% more than the BRB :), what were they thinking...well, the bottom line is, that we decided to start some house rules, cos the GW doesnīt care about their own products.

First one to "go", is CC against vehicles that have moved. 3+ to hit against turbo boosted fast skimmer is just b***s***. It should be at least 4+ for movement more than 12" and maybe even 5+ beyond 24"? Or is that just to HC? Maybe the 4+ general would be the best option...

Vanilla Marines just got their FAQ: http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m3450050a_Space_Marines_v1.0_SEPTEMBER13.pdf

Looks like the lack of special weapons on command squads was a mistake after all, so we can still do that.

As for the Biker bolt pistol/chainsword swap, just as pointless as the other marine dex's that let you do the same. Really what's the point when you don't get that +1A unless you have both? Which they can't.

As for chainsword and bolt pistol, I think that's to salve modeling problem for like DV sergent, you know.

It also fixes the question some people had of bikes taking special weapons (however dumb that argument was). Since you can replace a CC weapon for the special weapon and you can replace the pistol for a chainsword it's all good.
