I don't know what scares me more, that texas has this as a rule.....or that gina rinehart actually thinks this would be justice.

Ireland? Holy cow, man. Ireland is an economic disaster area right now, the poor *******s. They listened to their nutcases, and look where it got them! Who the hell wants to be Ireland?

I know right....can you believe she's the richest woman in the world.

she once suggest all Australians would be rich if we didn't go out to the pub on weekends. One of the leading economists then put forward the data that suggest if we did that $4 billion would be wiped off the Australian economy and around 200000 people minimum would be unemployed, and thats WITHOUT the flow on industrial effects.

Sounds like Monopoly :)

I dislike this as jusic should be universal, not one rule for the rich and another for the poor.

In terms of Ireland it gets even better:

Ugh...

Every time some hare-brained idea/law gets trotted out as an example - part of me always fears Texas is involved...

Proved right again...

so sad...

I am sure the fact that she is slamming clean energy has nothing at all to do with the fact that she is apparently opening up three huge coal mines...

I don't know, it could work. I'd allow it, but the price would be a flat rate of 99.9% of all a person's liquid and illiquid assets (including all shares, bonds, holdings, property, etc...) You want to buy your way out of jail? Okay. Fair enough. It'll cost you everything you own in the world.

Of course, this woman is an idiot. She has previous, as she's the same person who claimed to have built herself up from nothing, despite the fact she inherited all her wealth.

Yeah love, it's easy to build yourself up from nothing when you declare those millions in cash you have don't count towards your start in life.

Fool.

No worries Larry, I think we might be looking at yet another Texas-Urban-Legend again.
