I am surprised that no one has said, "Still better quality than failcast"...

Clearly their days are numbered!

Now Chapterhouse can put out truly repellant rubbish in the name of 'fair use of something I've not thought up myself'.

12 years old will be buying these, and by the time they turn 18, will have finished printing off their first armies. DOOM!!!! DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

On a serious note, in subeteo they had people who would stretch the goal keepers to make them easier to save the ball with, can you imagine some of the shenangians with self printed miniatures.

Subbeto use to be made round my way you know.

Tunbridge Wells. It's true, check it!!

But yeah. I really don't think GW will have anything to fear from this for some time yet. And by then, they'll have 'digitial models' ready to go. Because contrary to what the hate/lynch mob like to believe, the vast majority of human beings are quite willing to pay for their goods!

Well you know forking out 4k for a "decent" printer + materials is far more convienent than the 25 for a box of tacticals...

the thing is their going to be a threat in 10 maybe 20 years but by then I think matt ward will have killed the hobby with the aid of 12 year olds everywhere

If you think about it we have had the technology to reproduce the codex and rule books at home for a very long time, but when was the last time you saw someone use a home-printed rule book or codex?
