Steampunk Preheresy Iron Hands

I'm working on a Heresy-era Iron Hands army. This is because I love cybernetics and servo arms. However, I can't stand the Iron Hands colour scheme; it's ugly as a sack of hammers. So, I am adopting a more steampunk copper style. I shan't be doing actual steampunk stuff, because I don't want the whole Victorian thing. Anyway, pictures:

I really like your conversions and additions to these dreadnoughts. From the look of the lenses and skulls it looks like you have some talent painting, I think it might help to make your dark metal colors pop if you went back and highlighted the blacks and metals with a brighter color. The mat black armor detracts from your nicely converted model.

I like the matt black look yorkie- never been a fan f the light grey edging on 'eavy metal black stuff so suggest you stay subtle.

Are you going to use a decal, etched brass, or freehand the Legion Logo?

If you're worried about the model not showing up due to the dark colors, you could brighten up the base to add some contrast.

What did you use for the service studs? Mini magnets for basing fantasy regiments or something else...

Looks cool, keep it up
