Made for the AdMech allies I am building for my Preheresy Iron Hands.

Bought the Chimera Chassis from eBay for £7 because it was wrecked; everything not GW is basically plasticard and styrene rivets.

It has magnetised recesses in the side armours (you should be able to see them on the side shots). This is for a pair of armour panels I have made to represent the reinforced armour upgrade. Those aren't painted yet, though.

The rest is plasticard? Now that's cool! Will you be getting a Crassus transport? Because these definitely fit the theme! Good job!

Ok this sounds horrible and I'm sorry but the admech symbol looks like it's unpainted grey plastic or resin. The rest looks really amazing and well executed but I keep getting distracted by the admech symbol!

Absolutely fantastic, brilliant skills. My only issue is th erivets on the the back, they're positioned in the join between the plasticard which probably wouldn't work but then again I'm no enginseer so what do I know? Love the design though and very like the Crassus too.

That's awesome. I agree that it resembles the Crassus in basic shape, but the height makes it different entirely in concept. Sort of like the Chimera version of the Repressor, which is one of my favorites.

How did you do the rivets? Is this the tiny slice method, or something else?

very like the Crassus too.

It was entirely based on the Crassus, which is, IMO, the best-looking IG tanks. However, I don't play much Apocalyse, and wanted something that looked that good that I could use regularly. The story idea is that it comes from the same STC template as the Crassus.

Yup. Slice small disc from 0.4mm styrene rod, and apply. Took an an episode of "Breaking Bad" and the film "The Collection" to do. :)

Well, I did say it wasn't finished yet... :)

I know, it threw me when I first saw some tanks with it at the Muckleburg collection (http://www.muckleburgh.co.uk/) which did exactly that. But it's pretty unique, so I stole the look!

Incidentally, Muckleburg is a great day out if you like to model tanks. :)

Glad I put the caveat in 'what do I know' :) I did have a momentary doubt that they could be rivetted that way and it makes it doubly impressive if you've got real world examples for reference, excellent work.
