Adam Baldwin (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000284/) in Negotiations to Lend His Voice Talent to “WARMACHINE: Tactics”

BELLEVUE, WA, August 5, 2013 – Renowned actor Adam Baldwin is in negotiations to lend his voice talent to the upcoming video game WARMACHINE: Tactics. Perhaps best known for his role as Jayne Cobb in Firefly and Serenity, Baldwin has appeared in dozens of film and television roles, including Full Metal Jacket, Independence Day, The X-Files, and Chuck. Baldwin has also voiced roles in blockbuster video games including Halo 3: ODST and Mass Effect 2. WARMACHINE: Tactics came to Baldwin’s attention early in the game’s extremely successful Kickstarter campaign in which it funded its $550,000 goal in under 35 hours.

Based on the award-winning WARMACHINE tabletop game, WARMACHINE: Tactics is a turn-based, squad-level strategy game for PC and Mac produced in cooperation between Privateer Press Interactive and developer WhiteMoon Dreams. The game’s Kickstarter campaign attained over 200% of its funding in under three weeks and continues to unlock game-enhancing stretch goals. The campaign ends on August 9.

Matt Wilson, creator of WARMACHINE and the owner and Chief Creative Officer of Privateer Press Interactive, is personally overseeing the game’s story development and will be directing the voice-over and cinematic animation. “We could not be more thrilled for the opportunity to have Mr. Baldwin involved in the WARMACHINE: Tactics project,” said Wilson. “We’re all lifelong fans of his immense body of work, and bringing his incredible and iconic voice presence to the production will enable us to realize the artistic vision we’ve always had for this game.”
