Is it just me or is it getting very difficult to keep track of what book the latest rules for a particular vehicle is in? They seem to do a new book every couple of weeks, with different stuff in each.

A list of ALL thier stuff with the location of the latest version of the rules for each would be very usefull....

Someone asked this to FW on the facebook post where this was announced.

They are working on a model/rules index

Cool. That's good to know - thanks.

Although I have (while you were replying to me) just sent an email to Forgeworld asking for it as well! Ah well, if enough people ask, perhaps it will happen.

I can't be the only one struggling to keep up with what is in what book!

Last night this came up at the LGS when I used my nightwing. The guy was like "I don't see Agile on its profile." and he was looking at the vehicles update that was released for 6th edition last year whereas I was pointing out rules from IA:Aero that came out AFTER that PDF.

It took quite a bit of convincing. I wish there was a way to find out whats in this book before I buy it.

Although I'm sure that there are many omissions across all the factions, I particularly notice that there is no mention of the Eldar Nightwing or Phoenix.

They're in the Aeronautica book, not that old

Yes - along with other things like the ridiculously priced firestorm that are centered around flyers in normal games of 40k.

I'm aware of that, I use it constantly.
However, and purely from an Eldar point of view, both the Vampires are in Aeronautica and so is the Lynx, yet they are in the new book.

Because they're all super-heavies, and there are now new super-heavy rules.

So, as an Eldar player, any reason to get IA11 anymore?

Other than reading the stupid fluff about how the Imperium and the Space Wolves kicked our ***** - no.

Only if you want the relatively sub-par Corsair list. Aside from the jet pack "guardians", you can already include many of the Corsair units in a Craftworld list anyway, and the others you can pretty effectively simulate.

No they didn't! They're all right there!

I can't wait for Sisters to be redone. The entire range going to plastic/finecast or being redone entirely as well as greatly expanded rules and new units will of course be the priority, but it would be well worth it just to stop people from perpetuating the myth that they are disappearing. To be honest, as far as a model release goes, I would expect the reason they haven't been updated properly in so long is because GW have been hard at work making a multitude of new units as well as replacing the old sculpts, meaning it should be the biggest release model-wise in years.

So did anyone actually pick up a copy.... And would they be willing to answer questions on the book?
