Eldar Autarch and the path of strategy.

The wording on this one seems pretty clear to me:
If your army contains one or more Autarchs, you can modify your reserve rolls by +1 or -1

It isn't limited to Eldar units in reserve, so seems it could be used to help push in allied units on a 2+ or maybe delay them.
